Dot is a big favorite around the shelter because not only is she very sweet and affectionate she is also intelligent and fun to work with. Ziggy is a one year old Pit Bull Mix with lots of love to give and just the right temperament to be suitable for a active family, with kids, other dogs and a bed to share. He doesnt even mind cats! That doesnt mean he wont chase them but he wouldnt hurt a flea. Ziggy is housebroken, crate trained and neutered. Ziggy would love a running buddy or someone to play fetch with! Ziggy is being rehomed only because his owner is moving and unable to take him with her, not by choice. Sadie is a one year old pit bull/Labrador mix. She is housebroken and knows how to sit, shake, lie down and roll over. She is a very intelligent dog and needs an active family to call her own. Sadie gets along great with other dogs and loves people. Unfortunately she loves to chase cats, so a home without cats is absolutely necessary. More info? Nala was found with a string embedded in her neck when she was just a kitten. After many surgeries and lots of tender loving care she is ready for her forever home. Nala is currently living with her wonderful foster mother who has been her caregiver through all her surgeries. It has taken six months for Nala to recover from her injury and heal completely. Collie Mix |
Izabella is a very sweet and well mannered 13 year old medium size collie mix. She lost the only home she ever had because of unfortunate economic factors. Izzy (as she isaffectionately known) is currently in a foster home and hoping to find her forever home to live out her golden years. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. Izzy is a great companion for people, dogs and cats. Izzy does not mind children at all, but at her age would probably prefer a quieter home. Golden Retriever |
Gavin is a remarkable 6 year old Golden Retriever. He is already neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Some physical issues as an 8 wk. old puppy has left him with a paralyzed tongue, so eating and drinking takes a bit longer for him and is a messy process. He also has an unusual gait when he walks (kind of a high stepper) but these special needs are minor at best. Aside from that, Gavin is the PERFECT dog! Loves car rides, other cats and dogs, walks well on leash, great around small kids, housebroken and loves life! Gavin is looking for that special someone to love life with him!
